Characteristics and coaching philosophies of high school coaches

Every year, many Canadians volunteer, to become coaches in the school context which is described as being an extension of the classroom. This study was conducted to better understand who are the coaches and how they influence youth development. The results of this study should encourage researchers to study more closely the links that exist between extracurricular sport and physical education.
