Liste de vérification de la soumission

Les auteurs-es doivent s'assurer de la conformité de leur soumission avec l'ensemble des éléments suivants. Les soumissions non conformes pourraient être retournées aux auteurs-es.
  • The submission is original work and does not infringe on any third party's copyright.

  • The author(s) submitting the work is/are the actual author(s) of the work, not a third party.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is double-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); has continuous line numbering; and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review) have been followed. This is VERY IMPORTANT to ensure that the identity of the author(s) is not known to reviewers. Please be vigilant about this. Submissions which do not follow these directions will be returned to the author(s) for resubmission.

  • The title of the manuscript is no more than 100 characters

Directives aux auteurs-es

Dans la préparation de leur manuscrit pour publication dans Revue phénEPS-PHEnex Journal, les auteurs devraient respecter les règles énoncés ans Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (7è édition, 2020).

La longueur des manuscrits, sans compter les références, tableaux et figures, est la suivante, selon la section:

Les manuscrits sont à interligne double et les lignes sont numérotés. Les tableaux, figures et graphiques ont un titre et sont insérés à l'endroit approprié dans le texte. 

Un résumé de 100-150 mots précède le texte. Les auteurs devraient insérer ce résumé dans les deux langues, français et anglais. Si cela est impossible, la revue traduira le résumé. 

Les notes de bas de page sont à éviter; si elles sont utilisées elles doivent être de 5 lignes ou moins. 

La première page du manuscrit présente le titre, mais omet le nom de l'auteur / des auteurs. Tout indice sur le /les nom(s) des auteurs doit être éliminé du texte. 

Feature Articles / Articles de fond

The Feature Articles  section publishes substantial (7000 words maximum, not including references, tables and figures) empirical, theoretical, and methodological research papers from a variety of perspectives, methods and data gathering approaches.

Focus and Viewpoint / Point de mire et Point de vue

The Focus section publishes sizable papers (4500 words maximum) on particular topics falling within the scope of the journal. This section may feature a position paper, a keynote address, an essay, a photo or visual essay, a section of a report, and so on.

The Viewpoint section publishes short commentaries (3500 words maximum) or points of view, personal accounts, poems, etc., on any topic falling within the scope of PHEnex.

Reviews and News/ Avis et Communiqués

The Reviews and News section publishes short book reviews or news about new research methods (1500 words maximum).

Research Note / Note de recherche

Submissions will no longer be accepted for the Research Note section. Please use the Reviews and News section

Abstracts / Résumés

Abstracts are those which have been accepted for sessions during the Research Council meetings at the Physical Health Education (PHE) Canada annual conference.
